Optional protection

Keep the car covered. Skip the finance-office markup.

Service contracts, tire and wheel cover, a brake light that gets noticed and a sealant that stops flats. Explained here in plain English, priced for your vehicle on a call.

The Auto Advocate is paid when you buy a product on this page. Every one is optional and never a condition of our coaching.

A PermaSeal tire with green sealant visible inside
Tire sealant

PermaSeal

Safety and testing
  • Non-toxic, water-based and non-flammable

Also quoted on request

The rest of the finance-office menu, without the markup

Quoted on the call like everything else. The provider, the terms and what is excluded are on your written quote before you pay.

GAP
If the car is stolen or totaled, insurance pays what it is worth, not what you owe. GAP covers the difference between the two.
Example
Owe $25,000 on a car worth $20,000 when it is totaled, and GAP covers the $5,000.
Maintenance plans
Scheduled servicing such as oil changes, filters and tire rotations, paid up front at a fixed cost instead of visit by visit.
Dent and ding
Paintless repair of small dents and door dings, the kind a parking lot leaves, without a body shop or an insurance claim.
Windshield
Chip repair and windshield replacement when a stone does the damage, without it landing on your insurance.
Key replacement
Modern keys and fobs are programmed to the car and cost far more than a cut key. This covers replacing a lost or broken one.
GPS
A tracking device fitted to the vehicle, useful for recovery if it is stolen.
